What is Ozone?
Ozone is present in the environment as a protective gaseous layer. In its stratospheric role, O3 prevents living beings from experiencing the harmful effects of high energy ultraviolet radiation. However, ozone is becoming more widely researched as a therapeutic agent in the healing of acute and chronic pathologies that are bacterial, fungal, and/or viral in nature.
A common question we receive from prospective clients is “Isn’t ozone toxic to humans?”
The short answer - yes. Ozone ingested at abnormal concentrations in its gaseous form can pose a serious health risk. In the same way that the essential gasses we rely on - carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen - are toxic at certain doses.
In order to harness the healing power of O3, we suspend it in organic extra-virgin olive oil through gas diffusion. This process stabilizes the ozone and transforms the oil into a clear, clean gel that, as you will see, truly is a healing force to be reckoned with.
How does it work its magic?
Now here is where it gets really exciting! Ozone has a therapeutic range within which it:
- is a powerful disinfectant
- inactivates bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites
- activates our immune system
- stimulates oxygen metabolism
- accelerates healing
- regenerates tissues
- provides symptom relief from ailments such as burns, bug bites, rashes, and more
There is a plethora of peer-reviewed research available to the public establishing the medical benefits of ozone therapy. Even better, we will be sharing the firsthand experiences of our clients that demonstrate the dynamic healing powers of ozone.
